Florida Insurance CE Resources

Florida Insurance Continuing Education Resources

Understanding Florida continuing education requirements can be easier when you know what applies to your specific license.

Elevated Education Group created this resource center to help Florida insurance professionals understand common CE requirements, locate official resources, and prepare for upcoming compliance deadlines.

Your exact requirements may vary based on your license history, additional licenses, approved reductions, prior compliance periods, and other individual circumstances. Always confirm your current CE status through your Florida DFS MyProfile account before selecting a course. Florida DFS identifies MyProfile as the place for licensees to monitor their individual CE completion records.

How to Check Your Florida CE Status
1. Sign in to Florida DFS MyProfile.
2. Open your CE Status.
3. Review your current compliance period.
4. Confirm the number and type of hours still required.
5. Review your transcript for courses already completed.
6. Confirm that a course will satisfy the category you still need.

Important Florida CE Reminders
A course must be approved by Florida DFS and offered by an approved provider for CE credit to apply. The same CE course cannot be completed for credit more than once within a 24-month period. Review your Florida DFS transcript before enrolling to avoid duplicate-course issues. Providers have up to 21 days after course completion to report credit to the Department.
